District Administration arranges tourist taxis.

The East Garo Hills district administration has arranged tourist taxis to pick up the stranded people returning from outside the state to the district through Berubari Check Point in North Garo Hills.

The notification issued in this regard by the East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner stated that the tourist taxis arranged by the Incidence Response Team of the Transport Cell to pick up the passengers will charge Rs. 300/- per head from Berubari Check Point in North Garo Hills to Williamnagar in East Garo Hills.

The notification further stated that the passengers may also contact the District Transport Officer (DTO), CG Momin and the Enforcement Inspector, TN Sangma, on their mobile numbers 7005209232 and 8837079721 respectively for advance booking.
